Why magnesium? Humans used to absorb much needed magnesium through sweat and walking on the earth but now we take showers daily & wear shoes. Unfortunately our soil and food are depleted of this vital nutrient so most of the population has a magnesium deficiency.
Our muscles need magnesium to function properly. There are a few ways to get this magnesium. First step is to look at your diet as it’s best to get your magnesium through magnesium rich foods. In addition to diet, you could take a supplement which could lead to stomach discomfort, you could use a topical magnesium oil which could irritate the skin or you could apply a topical magnesium lotion which I recommend. It takes a little while to get used to as your skin will feel slightly tingly, but once soaked into your skin, the lotion cools the area.

How much magnesium?
The Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for adults 19-51+ years is as follows:
400-420 mg daily for MEN
310-320 mg for WOMEN, slightly different if nursing or pregnant
Ingredients: homemade magnesium oil made from pure magnesium chloride, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil (vitamin E), shea & mango butters, stearic acid, wax, Optiphen-Plus*, essential oils.
*ECOCERT, COSMOS, NATURE & BDIH-compliant paraben & formaldehyde-free preservative accepted in natural skincare that offers broad spectrum protection against bacteria, yeast and mold. This is needed in our formula because there is water present. This ingredient is only 1% of the final formulation
