Cup O’ Joe (Exfoliant)

Ingredients: coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, shea butter, organic coffee & grounds, lye, olive oil, avocado oil, castor oil
 
Scent Profile:  This soap was inspired by a trip to a coffee farm in Kona, Hawaii.  The thick, luscious deep green leaves & those sweet red clumps of fruit growing along the stem of the plant, breaking them open to find the coffee bean.  I tried to capture the smell of this coffee farm speckled with bright coffee beans, sweet & warm earthy notes, deep blue ocean breeze.
 
Coffee grounds are great topically for our skin.  Caffeine stimulates dilation while the scrubbing increases circulation, plumping the skin.  These grounds can also increase collagen production.  Although this soap will not make cellulite dissapear indefinitely it does reduce the appearance of cellulite.  If the grounds are too rough for some parts of the body you can use a luffa with the soap as well.
